Founded nearly 130 years ago under the name Fabrique de Fer de Maubeuge (FFM), the company's size and production capacity (approximately 400 ktonnes per year)  make it one of the largest pre-finished steel production facilities in Europe today.

1996 fleche-droiteModernisation of line 2: two layers system and rapid colour changing
1998 fleche-droiteThe Fabrique de Fer de Maubeuge joins Hoogovens, changes its name and becomes Myriad, concentrating 100% on its pre-finished steel business
1999 fleche-droiteMerger between Hoogovens and British Steel, which gives birth to Corus. Increase in the capacity of line A:  multiplied by three, the production line can now produce up to 120 metres/minute
2006 fleche-droiteIntroduction of the MyriaPlus™ service offer
2007 fleche-droiteTata Steel Limited buys Corus
2010 fleche-droiteOn 27 September 2010, Corus changes its name to become Tata Steel Europe
